The Green Planet is Dubai’s very own tropical rainforest. With more than 3,000 species of plants, animals, and birds, this green oasis is a sanctuary of exotic flora and fauna. Aiming to educate guests about the important role the tropical forest plays in the future of our planet, the Green Planet exposes Dubai to another world within its glass dome. Responsibly sourced species include sloths, snakes, spiders and a vast array of birds.
This tropical rainforest can be explored by both the adults and kids. It will give you an insight into the tropical forest and its species along with creatures you haven't seen or heard. The tropical area is divided into different zones like the Canopy, the midstory, forest floor, and flooded rainforest. The canopy consists of the Bat cave and Sloth encounter. It will be a thrilling experience to watch the bat cave in reality, just like we saw in the batman movie. Then one can meet the sloths, which are slow-moving arboreal mammals. The midstory consists of the squirrel monkey, having a long tail to balance and jump from one tree to another.
